Homosexuality and the Bible
Please understand that the following writings are all taken to be literal in understanding that the attacks of the religious right has no ground for their beliefs or teachings on Homosexuality. One day I believe they will answer to God for their hate and the early deaths of many who were told they were not recipients of God's love and grace.
I’m Gay… Am I Really Saved?
“Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.” I Peter 2:10
“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” Galatians 2:20
“…there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, but whoever rejects the Son (Jesus) will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.” John 3:36
“…Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved…” Acts 16:31
“For God so loved the world (that’s you and me) that God gave his one and only Son, that whosoever believes in Jesus shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send Jesus into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. Whoever believes in Jesus is not condemned but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.” John 3:16-18
Did you get the message? The only reason why anyone is condemned to an eternal separation from God is because that one has not personally believed in and received Jesus Christ for salvation.
“Yet to all who received Jesus, to those who believed in His name. He gave the right to become children of God.”
To be in Christ is to be born again. Have you at sometime or another received Jesus Christ into your heart and life? If you are unable to answer yes, my prayer is that right now you will ask, Jesus to come and live in your heart and life.
